A Home Away From Home. A Structure That Supports Excellence
The Amaatra residential program is built on the understanding that a good environment produces good outcomes. Our boarding facility provides secure, comfortable, and well-supervised living spaces where students develop independence, time management, and the discipline that academic excellence demands — alongside the friendships and community that make school life genuinely memorable.
24-hour security with controlled entry. Parents can drop and collect with complete confidence.
Well-maintained dormitories with adequate space, storage, and natural light. Separate blocks for boys and girls, supervised by resident wardens.

Access to the full athletics infrastructure, common rooms, and weekend activities. Time to be a student, not just an exam candidate.
A Day In The Life
No two days in Early Years look exactly the same — but every day has a rhythm that children come to know, trust, and look forward to.
*Schedules may vary slightly by day and term. Weekend routines include additional recreational time and optional activities.
Where Every Student Has a Stage.
At Amaatra, creative life is not an add-on. It is woven into the academic calendar, the school day, and the identity of every student who passes through. We believe that students who create, perform, and imagine alongside their academic work are not distracted from it — they are better at it.

Each grade produces a full theatrical performance rooted in that year's curriculum — a dramatic exploration of a historical period, a scientific concept, or a cultural tradition. Students research the subject, write scripts, design costumes, rehearse, and perform. Thematic Days are one of the most anticipated events on the Amaatra calendar.

Structured visual arts instruction gives students the vocabulary of line, colour, form, and composition. Students work across media — pencil, watercolour, acrylic, and mixed media — building technical skill alongside creative confidence. Student artwork is displayed throughout the school and features in the annual Amaatra Fest.

From classical Indian forms to contemporary movement, dance at Amaatra is both a taught discipline and a performance practice. Students participate in structured classes and perform at school events. Dance is open to all — no prior experience required.

Individual and ensemble music instruction, choral singing, and structured drama classes give students the experience of learning and performing together. Drama students build skills in voice, movement, character, and stagecraft — skills that extend well beyond the stage into presentation, communication, and confidence.

GRADES 6+Senior students take on real leadership roles planning and running Amaatra's signature events — Amaatra Fest, MUN, Sports Days, and Thematic Days. Committee members manage logistics, coordinate with faculty, and take ownership of outcomes. Leadership in practice, not in theory.
GRADES 9+Four Houses. One Community. Endless Competition.
Every Amaatra student is assigned to one of four houses upon joining the school. Houses compete across academics, athletics, arts, and community participation throughout the year. Points accumulate. Rivalries develop. And at the end of the year, one house lifts the House Cup.
