Building the Foundations
That Last a Lifetime
Curious, confident, capable. The primary years at Amaatra are where a child's relationship with learning begins — and we make sure it begins well.
OUR CORE BELIEFS
Our Approach
Understanding before recall. Experience before explanation. These are the principles that guide primary learning at Amaatra. We follow the CBSE curriculum, but we deliver it through activity, discovery, and real-world context — because a child who has lived an idea learns it differently from one who has only read about it.
What Learning Looks Like:
Four Pillars
Conceptual Learning
Lessons are designed around what students can think and apply — not what they can recite.
Real-World Experiences
Field trips, experiments, and hands-on projects bring the classroom into the world and the world into the classroom.
Thematic Days
Each grade produces a theatrical performance rooted in their curriculum — history, geography, science, and culture brought to life on stage.
Flea Market
Students plan, create, price, and sell — their first real encounter with commerce, creativity, and consequence.
Athletics — Building Bodies,
Building Character
Every primary student at Amaatra participates in a structured sports program spanning football, basketball, swimming, tennis, and more. At this stage the emphasis is breadth over specialization — developing movement, coordination, and teamwork across as many disciplines as possible before students begin to identify the sports they want to pursue more seriously.
By the end of Grade 5, Amaatra students are grounded, curious, and ready. The foundations are in place.
A Selective Admissions Process
Amaatra follows a structured, offline admissions model designed to ensure alignment between student potential and institutional standards.
